Dr. Lamont T. Harris, Jr.

Dr. Lamont T. Harris Jr., is a passionate leader in education known for his dedication to special needs populations and educational technology. With a deep love for learning and personal development, Dr. Harris leverages his experiences as a father, entrepreneur, and educator to uplift and inspire others. His recent achievement of defending his dissertation in March 2024 from the New Jersey City University Doctor of Educational Technology Leadership Program underscores his commitment to educational excellence.

Currently serving as a Learning Consultant and Case Manager in New Brunswick Public Schools, Dr. Harris draws on over a decade of experience as a special education teacher and his previous role as Technology Director at PRIDE. His extensive background in education is complemented by his work with CIRCLE Learning Group Inc., a nonprofit he founded in 2012. CIRCLE, which stands for Collective Initiatives Restore Community Life and Education, provides vital educational programs to underserved communities in New Jersey, reflecting Dr. Harris’s commitment to educational justice.

Outside of his professional and community work, Dr. Harris enjoys spending quality time with his son, Lamont III, and their Morkie, Cabbage. Their favorite activities include camping, motorcycle rides, and visiting historical sites. Together, they also provide entertainment as a father-son DJ and photographer duo, adding joy to special events.
